As I reflect on the journey of my life, I've walked through some of its darkest and most challenging seasons I honestly never expected to walk down. It's during these difficult times that I learned the profound impact of seeking wisdom through biblical counseling. That very pursuit, in countless ways, helped to transform my understanding of the promises of God, and also find God's healing through it all...and it continues to this day.

I love how God works as one particular morning when my heart longed for genuine reprieve and rest after an unusually hectic summer that crashed right into a superbly busy Fall. It was that very day as I was asking the Lord for guidance in finding solace in the middle of my never-ending-to-do-list that this Bible arrived at my doorstep. With excitement, I opened up the pages to discover the very first article I encountered was none other than "Sabbath Rest: Trusting God with Your 'To-Do' List." God's timing is always perfect!

I immediately dove into the article discovering many 'a-ha' moments woven into the words of the author, Winston Smith, while unwrapping God's truth and promises when we truly honor the Sabbath as He so instructed and honestly speaking, commanded us to.
